Meet Ed
Ed Round, Strategic & Operations Director, on his Cornerstone first impressions and priorities, longer term aims and aspirations – and did he really do a bungee jump after a few pints and a curry?
As we’ve mentioned previously, we have a new Strategic and Operations Director in Ed Round, whose role is breaking new ground here at Cornerstone DM.
Ed’s joined us after 23 years at healthcare manufacturer Thornton & Ross / STADA UK, where he was Director of OTC (over-the-counter medicines) and Business Development for the past four-and-a-half years.
His appointment marks a ‘full circle of life’ relationship with our founder and MD David Wadsworth, who first worked for Ed, then a Senior Product Manager, as an ambitious and enthusiastic marketing undergraduate intern 20 years ago.
So, as we’ve never had a Strategic and Operations Director before, Ed sat down with our very own answer to Michael Parkinson, PR and copywriter Nigel Wareing, to discuss how he’s settled in at Cornerstone, his first impressions and first priorities, and his longer term aims and aspirations, along with a nod to his illustrious past and a fun fact puzzle.
