Account Manager / Senior Account Manager

Cornerstone is on the look out for a highly motivated and experienced account manager to join our growing agency.

Known for our passion for the industry, ability to achieve the impossible and provide outstanding work, client satisfaction and results, we are looking to recruit an account manager that is highly motivated, a strong communicator, an excellent people person and up for taking on new and demanding challenges.

Working as part of an account management team of three, the role will involve dealing with tight deadlines, management of multiple projects, client relationships and expectations, as well as providing the ability to multi-task whilst maintaining outstanding levels of attention to detail for clients and their campaigns.

The ideal candidate should have at least three years’ experience within a marketing or agency role, be looking to develop their career in a growing agency, be passionate about the job and be a strong and confident copywriter and marketing strategist.

Key roles will include:

  • Managing many of Cornerstone’s client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention and account development
  • Taking briefs from clients and translating that into working marketing ideas for our creative and digital teams to develop into a finished piece of work
  • Providing quotations and estimates for client projects
  • Copywriting for client campaigns, marketing literature and all other media and channels
  • Marketing strategy, planning and working with other team members to achieve a positive outcome
  • Good knowledge of various media channels, marketing techniques and industries
  • Providing clients with marketing ideas, technical advice about emerging media channels and ways in which to leverage this for their marketing progression
  • A strong understanding of digital technology and social media platforms and techniques
  • Time management and planning, ensuring multiple projects are able to be completed in a polished and streamlined manner
  • A keen eye for brand identity, consistency and creativity, with creative ideas to help develop client brand positioning and awareness

Senior PHP Developer

We’re on the lookout for a talented senior full stack PHP web developer to join our team.

Working on a range of projects for both large and medium sized clients, the appointed PHP developer will work with our digital, web, creative and account management teams in developing new websites using technologies such as Laravel, WordPress and similar systems to help deliver on our client briefs and marketing challenges.

Using our bespoke UX orientated approach, you’ll be involved in carefully crafting beautifully designed, structured websites that not only look and function exceptionally, but add real value to our clients’ businesses.

The successful candidate must be hard working, reliable and energetic with a passion for the job and a keen eye for detail.

Minimum 5 years industry experience required.

The chosen applicant will be involved in the technical specification of client websites, and will maintain and update them on an on-going basis.

A passion for the job is an absolute must, as well as the following:

  • Minimum 5 years industry experience
  • In depth knowledge of WordPress and Laravel
  • Ability to code websites responsively using SASS / CSS / HTML5
  • Understanding and experience of various eCommerce platforms
  • Strong PHP and MySQL knowledge
  • Understanding (at least basic) in SEO
  • Working proficiently with FTP clients
  • Good understanding of jQuery and JavaScript
  • Version control experience using GIT, Bitbucket or similar
  • API Integrations (SOAP/Rest)
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and individually where necessary
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality control
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Plesk, Ajax, Other platforms such as Drupal, Joomla, Code Ignitor
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS
  • WordPress plugin development
  • UI development experience
