We also operate a highly specialised production studio and signage division. And while we’ve long had the equipment, skills and expertise, our capabilities were ramped up thanks to a move to an impressive new workspace in 2019, which features a purpose-built print room.
Our signage division isn’t an ‘add-on’, it’s an ‘ad-vantage’ – for you as a client and for us as creatives. It enables us both to work together to perfect your concept from start to finish. In fact, businesses and organisations have been benefiting from the work of our Cornerstone production department for over a decade.
Our production crew has a wealth of industry experience, both in manufacturing and installation. They are perfectionist professionals with backgrounds in a broad range of both traditional and state-of-the art printing techniques.
They also have a head for heights, possessing PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers Association) certification and IPAF MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) licences.

The process
To get started with outdoor signage, we initially take a brief from the client to understand the scope of the project before conducting a site survey, gathering information on materials, measurements and placements.
The project then passes to our highly experienced design team who interpret the brief, inclusive of the site survey, creating visuals for client consideration ahead of approval and sign-off.
Once the design aspect is finalised it zooms over to our wide-format production studio.
And that’s where the magic happens (well it isn’t magic, it’s pure knowledge and skill) before the all-important installation.
The Cornerstone ‘diligence, care and pride’ ethos features heavily throughout the entire process, but this final stage is where it’s absolutely essential and it’s what makes our production service stand apart.

Much of our work is bespoke to the client and we offer a wide range of material solutions from back lit tray signs to acrylics, steel and aluminium signage.

Outdoor signage design and installation
All of our signage is designed, printed and manufactured at our Oldham base, and is carefully checked for quality and defects before being despatched.
Any issues are rectified before being delivered or installed, meaning that your signage will be on brand, to the highest of standards and defect-free.
Installation
Your job is in good hands – our team is highly experienced, fully qualified and hold all the required CSCS cards and associated training and qualifications, as we mentioned earlier.
Our installers are fully insured to carry out outdoor signage installations across the UK. They are based in-house, all working to the same high standards that Cornerstone is renowned for.
And they’ll take time to consider the site layout, any work taking place – if applicable – and how best to proceed on your site with the least hassle or fuss. All work is checked and signed off, and our installers do not leave the site until you are totally satisfied with the results.
